While it’s common belief that the sounds of Halloween are a bit eerie--the howls of a strong wind, a bone-chilling screech of a cat, the ominous creaking of doors--they don’t all have to be. In fact, they can be pretty funky as proven by Fashion Fair’s first official Halloween playlist!

Whipped up by Brooklyn-resident DJ, Nikki Kynard, this thrilling mix is about to make it go bump in the night--but in a hauntingly fun way. Press play and set the mood as you’re applying the last touches to your costume’s makeup, or turn this on at your haunted house party and watch the crowd jump! It’s bound to be a scary good time.

Trick or Treat?

Treat! Always!

Which Fashion Fair product is perfect for a night of trick and treating?

I’d certainly do the lipstick in Swoon!

What are you dressing up as this Halloween? Any big plans?

I’m spinning about three different parties and I plan to be a sci-fi, futuristic, super goddess! Lol

Do you go scary or vampy with your Halloween makeup?

Scary! I often do my own make up by following YouTube tutorials. I’ve perfected skeleton makeup.

What's your Halloween beauty essential?

Makeup removing wipes! I keep them bedside.

Favorite Halloween costume beauty muse of all time?

There’s only one! Lol... Heidi Klum

What makes for the best spooky but funky mix?

I like digging in the deep cuts of scary movie soundtracks. Especially from the 70s and 80s like Fright Night from 1985. Woooh!
